When a natural disaster strikes, there may be a collective sense of loss as a community grieves the individual losses together.

Even those outside the geographic range, and who may not appear to be directly impacted, can experience just as strong an intense mourning.

Suffering reverberates through our lives when someone we love is hurting.

Janet Morana addresses this phenomena as it plays out after abortion in her new book, Shockwave: Abortion’s Wider Circle of Victims.

The book follows the 2015 Shockwaves initiative from the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. At least a dozen communitites are identified:

Morana joined us in 2015 to share how abortion impacted her as a grandmother. She returns on Sunday April 15 to share stories from the Shockwave campaign.

If you or someone you love has been impacted by abortion, plan now to listen in.

From her bio:

Janet A. Morana is the executive director of Priests for Life and co-founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. She is a native of Brooklyn, N.Y, and a former New York City public school teacher who has been involved in the pro-life movement, on the state, national and international level, since 1993. She is the author of Recall Abortion.
