Sharing the joy of redemption after abortion

Cradle My Heart Today | Leslie’s story 12-22-17

Leslie Blackwell perfected her image as the perfect career girl on broadcast TV. Listen now:

Leslie Blackwell

But just as she was poised to step into that role an unplanned pregnancy threatened to derail it all.

Abortion seemed a quick and simple answer.

The party lifestyle that followed as she progressed into success led to another pregnancy when there seemed even more to lose.

Then she doubled down into pro-abortion rights activism.

But God broke through to soften Leslie’s heart.

She says, “I could no longer fight against the lives of the unborn.

“God’s grace allowed me to see clearly that life is sacred. I began regretting my abortions and finally received the tremendous healing I so desperately needed.”

Leslie is now active in the cause of defending the lives of children before birth and speaking out against abortion through the Silent No More Awareness Campaign.

Her life today models the way God often uses our worst mistakes for his greatest glory.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.   Ephesians 1:7
