Abortion = a deficit of love

Cradle My Heart Today |  Robin’s story 4-13-17

The Hollywood myth says perfect romance is all chemistry and attraction.

Christian author Robin Gunn says, “When the emotions fade, we may believe something’s wrong with the other person. So we break up and set off looking for The One with perfect chemistry.”

The truth in God’s economy is almost exactly opposite.

Friends who fully know and accept each other choose to build a lasting commitment, regardless of emotions, circumstances, or fleeting feelings of sexual attraction.

Without a healthy foundation, women become vulnerable to a host of problems up to and including abortion. And women who feel unloved are fully capable of inflicting harm on men, sometimes choosing abortion against a man’s will to parent his child.

In her book Spoken For Robin asks “How different would our lives be if we actually believed that we are loved, wanted, pursued and cherished?”

An unplanned pregnancy may expose the fatal flaws in our relationships. But through the pregnancy help movement, couples are learning to truly love and build a beautiful new life.

Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:7-8
