Words kill, words give life

Cradle My Heart Today | Cindy’s story 4-3-17

Cindy Brunk was a few days shy of 19 when she learned she was pregnant. Listen now:

She chose abortion because she lacked support to see a pregnancy through.

Cindy says, “It was so easy to believe the lies that said it was simply tissue, that I could simply go on with my life, never looking back.”

In the years that followed she suffered from eating issues, nightmares, flashbacks, anger, low self-esteem, and an inability to trust anyone.

She says, “I couldn’t bond with my children, nor trust my parenting decisions.”

The healing journey began for Cindy when a woman at church shared openly that after her abortion she had found healing through the local pregnancy resource center.

There’s hope for you too.

Today Cindy is active in the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, a grassroots movement to proclaim truth about abortion in the lives of those who have chosen it and to encourage others in the healing journey.

What a difference it made when one person spoke deception before abortion and one woman spoke truth afterwards in Cindy’s life.

Words kill, words give life;
they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. Proverbs 18:21 (The Message)
