Helping students stand up against abortion

-Do you know scientific facts about in utero development and the surgical aspects of abortion?
-Can you break down common themes exchanged in abortion discussions today?
-Do you understand options, such as adoption, for women who do not elect abortion?
-Can you stand up for racial equality in discussions about abortion? Did you know this could even be a concern?

Human Life Alliance featured on Cradle My Heart Radio week of Nov 6

Human Life Alliance provides information and publications to educate and inform on a wide range of topics related to the issue of life.

standup_webimage_475x600We recently spoke with Interim Executive Director Joe Langfeld about Stand Up, HLI’s new campus outreach integrating a magazine and interactive webpage at iwillstandup.com

Aimed at the next generation, this outreach addresses challenging questions:

-Do you know scientific facts about in utero development and the surgical aspects of abortion?
-Can you break down common themes exchanged in abortion discussions today?
-Do you understand options, such as adoption, for women who do not elect abortion?
-Can you stand up for racial equality in discussions about abortion? Did you know this could even be a concern?
-Are you aware there are several types of chemical abortion techniques?

There’s also content about the science of sex, the impact of abortion on the women who choose it, and personal testimonies from other students and peers.

Join us on Cradle My Heart Radio the week of Nov. 6 for an enlightening conversation and a chance to win this new resource for campus outreach.

From Joe Langfeld’s bio:

joe-langfeld-2After working for the United States Congress right after college, he joined the staff of Saint Paul’s Outreach and now serves as interim executive director for Human Life Alliance an international pro-life non-profit organization. In his spare time he serves on the serves on his local church council, is a development committee member for the National Service Committee and advised the newly formed Saint Paul Street Evangelization (a grassroots organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel on the streets). The name Joseph means “he will add” so we hope Joe does indeed add something for us all. He’s fond of telling people that “Joseph” was the eleventh son of Jacob in the Old Testament and the favorite of his father. While Joe wasn’t sold to into slavery by his siblings, he’s pretty sure they would have—if timing and circumstances would have permitted that back in the 70s.
